Encouraging excellence, valuing people

August 20th 2020 was a day of celebration for our Year 11 pupils who collected their GCSE results.

These outstanding results, in line with previous cohorts, are a testament to their hard work, resilience and perseverance over many years. Congratulations for everything you’ve achieved in this most difficult of years.

 Mr Morris, Headteacher said:

"Recent months have been extremely worrying for all of those involved in education, but particularly for our Year 11 pupils at South Charnwood High School. These are the pupils who left school so suddenly without taking exams, without their Prom and without many of the other normal rites of passage. It was, therefore, so lovely to see them all again at school and to share in their joy and excitement as they finally received the GCSE results that their hard work and commitment so thoroughly deserved.

"We are so proud of their achievements and of the resilience they have shown over the past months. We wish them all the greatest of success for the future."
