FORM 7JW CHARITY QUIZ EVENT

It was quiz time for year 7 last month, as 7JW hosted an event as part of their Futures Award. One of the strands of the award is for helping their community, and 7JW decided to organise the quiz with a £1.50 entry.

Just short of £100 was raised and is going to be split between Cancer Research UK and the Alzheimer's Society, two charities which are dear to the hearts of some members of the tutor group. The pupils showed incredible enthusiasm and initiative by writing their own quiz questions, acting as DJ between rounds, acting as host to welcome the pupils, serving refreshments, cleaning up afterwards, and much more besides!

Well done to our winning teams, who each received a box of sweets.
