Summer Fair 2025

On Friday 4th July, the Pupil Voice Team hosted a Summer Fair in aid of Stomp Around Leicester, LOROS.

This was the 1st South Charnwood summer fair held in a long time and what an afternoon we all had!

The atmosphere around school was fantastic with a wide variety of activities on offer. Wet the teacher was a huge hit with Mr Andrews getting soaked from wet sponges. Over 140 tombola tickets were sold and people won prizes ranging from perfume to sweets/chocolate, toys and a special donation from McDonalds at Beaumont Leys.

It was lovely to see everyone getting involved and having a great time.

After the fair, pupils enjoyed an extended tutor time and the whole school was able to watch a pupil vs staff rounders game. It was a very close result, with both teams being neck and neck. It all came down to the last staff player being able to secure a rounder enabling the staff team to win.

The score finished on Pupils 10 - 11 Staff.

We are pleased to announce that the combined events have raised an outstanding amount of £574 and this will be going to LOROS very soon. Don’t forget to pop along during the summer holidays and visit our Elephant. You can find out where to find it here.
