National Year of Reading

We are delighted to be joining in with activities for the National Year of Reading 2026. The campaign, organised by the National Literacy Trust and backed by the Department for Education, launched at the Emirates Stadium last week. Its focus is to reverse the worrying decline in levels of reading for pleasure amongst children and teenagers.

We currently have a very colourful array of FREE bookmarks available from the Library. Encourage your children to pop along and collect one for their current book, and remember the school's expectation of 15 minutes of reading every day.
